Dr. Moyes presents his most respectful compliments to Coln de Miranda and returns him his most grateful thanks for his valuable introductory letters to his friends in New York and Philadelphia; the enclosed notes will introduce the Coln. to Mrs Knowles, General Melville, Dr. Garthshore, if he will take the trouble to take them across the Atlantic.
Mrs Knowles is acquainted with all the women of taste in and about London, and General Melville who is himself a man of great erudition is highly esteemed by all the literaty.
Dr. Moyes sincerely wishes Coln de Miranda an agreeable voyage, and hopes to have the pleasure of meeting him before he leaves [to] England.
