Mr. Waddington presents compliments to Colo. Miranda—has sent the Ticket for the London which he promised—& will he glad if the will caál upon him on Thursday Evening at 7 o'Clock.—When Mr. W. requested the favor of Colo, Miranda's Company to morrow to Dinner, he did not recollect that two ships are this week to depart for America which he & his Partner are principally concerned in loading;—of course he will be exceedingly engaged. He will esteem it a singular favor if the Colo will postpone dining with him till next Week.

El señor Waddington presenta sus atentos saludos al coronel de Miranda. Le ha enviado el billete para el "London", como le prometió y agradecerá le haga una visita el jueves por la tarde a las siete. Cuando el señor Waddington rogó al coronel Miranda el favor de su compañía para el almuerzo de mañana, no recordaba que dos barcos partían esta semana para América, que él y su socio están muy interesados en cargar y que por supuesto, estará sumamente ocupado. Considerará como un favor singular si el coronel aplazase el almuerzo hasta la semana que viene.
