Colombeia

Mr. Serjt. Adair presents his compliments to Colonel De Miranda, has been extremely mortified, that his unavoidable engagements of business, together with a month absence from town, have hitherto prevented him from meeting the Colonel, and deprived him of the honor of his acquaintance. Mr. Adair, will esteem it a particular favor if the Colonel, will do him the honor of dining with him on Saturday next in Lincolns Inn fields, at half an hour past four o'clock. Sunday, 17th. April 1785.
El señor Adair presenta sus respetos al coronel Miranda. Se ha sentido extremadamente mortificado porque sus inevitables compromisos de negocios, junto con un mes de ausencia de la ciudad, le han impedido hasta el momento ver al coronel, y privado del honor de conocerlo El señor Adair consideraría especial favor, si el coronel le hiciese el honor de almorzar con él el sábado próximo a las cuatro y media en Lincoln's Inn Fields.
