My Dear Sir.
I have only time to tell you that I have this Instant received, together & at the sametime, all your Letters — the last the one of yesterday — A sharp Fatality certainly occasioned the Delay — The Post only comes here four times a Week, not yesterday— the one you wrote on Tuesday was forwarded by the mistake of the Post office to Malden — in Essex — I do not have how — I shall set of f this Evening, & be with you early tomorrow morning.

Sólo tengo tiempo para decirle que en este instante recibo, juntas y al mismo tiempo, todas las cartas de V., la última, la de ayer. Una marcada fatalidad ocasionó seguramente la demora. El correo sólo llega aquí cuatro veces por semana. Ayer no. La que escribió V. el martes fue enviada por equivocación de la oficina de correos a Maldon, en Essex. No sé cómo. Saldré esta tarde y estaré con V. temprano, mañana por la mañana.
