Mr Martin presents his respectful Compliments to Lord Hobart, and hopes that the information he was able to give at his Lordship's house on Friday last, may have enabled His Majestey's Ministers to come to a speedy decision upon that important business. Should this have been the result he begs his Lordship to have the goodness to make him acquainted with it; as his present situation requires he shoul make some private arrangements here previous to his departure. Mr Martin take this opportunity to testify to Lord Hobart his acknow ledgements for the liberal sentiments with which he had the goodness to support on that occasion the cause of his unfortunate Country.

El señor Martin saluda respetuosamente a Lord Hobart y espera que la información que pudo dar en casa de su Señoría el viernes pasado haya permitido a los Ministros de Su Majestad llegar a una pronta decisión con respecto a este asunto importante. Si el resultado fuera así, ruega a su Señoría tenga la bondad de hacérselo saber ya que su situación actual requiere que tome unas disposiciones personales aquí antes de partir. El señor Martin aprovecha esta ocasión para testimoniar a Lord Hobart su reconocimiento por los sentimientos generosos con los que tuvo la bondad de respaldar en esa ocasión la causa de su desafortunado País.
