I this day receive your pleasing letter there is only one thing in which I am disappointed & that is that I may not expect the pleasure of seing you here. However Circunstances so turn out—that being obliged to go to Bath. I will in may stop in London & so arrange my journey that we have full time to talk over and concert matters on the su jet toujours le méme for which reason I will continué in London as long as I can be of use in it—I wish you would inquire whether there by any Hotel near you, where I & my servant, for I travel en gargon can be accomodated, the nearer the better.—Be so good to inform me of its situation, and I will advise you of the day Ishall set out—that you may take an apartment for me. I will, as you desire, suspend my publication till I see you & you have seen it.

Recibo hoy la grata carta de V. Sólo hay una cosa que siento y es que no puedo esperar tener el placer de ver a V. aquí. Sin embargo, las circunstancias son tales que, viéndome obligado a ir a Bath, me detendré en Londres y así arreglaré mi viaje para que tengamos todo el tiempo para discutir y concretar temas sobre "le sujet toujours le méme ", razón por la cual permaneceré en Londres el tiempo que pueda necesitar para esto. Deseo se entere V. si hay algún hotel cerca de su casa donde yo y mi criado porque viajo "en garqon" podamos alojarnos, lo más cerca posible. Tenga V. la amabilidad de informarme acerca de esto y yo le avisaré del día en que saldré para que me pueda reservar un aposento. Suspenderé mi publicación como lo desea V., hasta que yo vea a V. y que V. la haya visto.
