Mr. Martin presents his respectful compliments to Mr Ford — and sends him the Pass he received at Gravesend yesterday Morning, having arrived to London only last night — the motif of not waiting upon him personaly at the Alien office in this moment, is explained by the incog: he has requested.— and begs of Mr Ford to have the goodness to informe H.M's Ministers of his arrival in Town.
Mr Smith his Countriman, is charged with this Letter; an will wait on mr Ford to receive any orders, or Communications he may be pleased to send.

El señor Martin presenta sus respetuosos saludos al señor Ford y le envía el Permiso que recibió ayer por la mañana en Gravesend, habiendo llegado solamente anoche a Londres. El motivo por el cual no pasó a verle personalmente en la Oficina de Extranjeros, en este momento, queda explicado por el incógnito que él había solicitado. Y ruega al señor Ford tenga la bondad de informar a los Ministros de Su Majestad de su llegada a la ciudad.
El señor Smith, su compatriota, se encarga de esta carta y pasará a ver al señor Ford para recibir cualquier orden o comunicaciones que él pueda querer enviar.
