My Dear Sir.
I was prevented from having the pleasure to be with you yesterday being on the Speeial Jury in the Cause between Lord Roban & Lord St Vincent, & detained the whole forenoon. To day it will not be in my Power to be in the West End of the Town before I go to the Country — At last I have received a Note from Mr. Vansittart, requesting me to advance you as far as £ 300 towards discharging such Expences as you may have incurred—

Mi estimado Señor:
Me he visto impedido de tener el placer de ver a V. ayer por estar en el Jurado Especial en la Vista entre Lord Nelson y Lord Saint Vincent, y retenido toda la mañana. Hoy no estará en mi poder ir a la zona oeste de la ciudad antes de partir para el campo. Por fin he recibido una nota del señor Vansittart, pidiéndome le adelante a V. hasta 300 Libras para pagar aquellos gastos en los que V. haya podido incurrir.
